The 71-room Comfort Suites Rock Hill – Manchester Meadows Area in South Carolina has been sold in a deal brokered by Marcus & Millichap.
Built in 2008 by developer Sand Hospitality and renovated in 2019, the four-story, 67,132-square-foot property sits on 1.3 acres just off Interstate 77. The hotel is near Carowinds Amusement Park, Rock Hill Galleria Mall and a range of dining and retail options, and provides access to Winthrop University and Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Amenities include an indoor swimming pool, fitness center and 24-hour front desk.
“The new investor purchased the hotel from the original developer. This will be the buyer’s first property in the area and it plans to operate locally,” Jack Davis, senior managing director investments with Marcus & Millichap, said in a statement.
Davis—along with Marcus & Millichap’s Joce Messinger, Chase Dewese and Milin Mehta—represented the seller and procured the buyer, both local private investors.
