BWH Hotels expands Aiden with 50-plus properties in development

BWH Hotels has unveiled continued global growth for boutique, lifestyle brand Aiden with more than 35 hotels now open and some 50 in development.

The brand—which includes some 3,666 rooms in total—currently has properties in operation across 15 countries and five continents. Aiden hotels are designed to feature abstract, modern guestrooms, locally inspired dining and bars, social spaces suitable for work or events and streamlined technology, according to the Phoenix-based company.

“Aiden is lighting up the hospitality scene from San Antonio to Sydney, capturing the attention of owners worldwide,” Brad LeBlanc, SVP and chief development officer of BWH Hotels, said in a statement. “Aiden’s flexible upscale model is ideal for hoteliers looking to transform an existing property or build something entirely new.”

In North America, the brand is expanding in destinations such as Sedona, Los Angeles’ Chinatown, Newark and San Antonio’s Riverwalk. It also has additional properties planned for Kansas City’s Power and Light District, Dallas–Fort Worth Airport, Sacramento and West Palm Beach.

Across Europe, development continues in France, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Poland, Norway and Sweden. Aiden is also set to make its Middle East debut in 2027 with a property in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

In the Asia-Pacific region, Aiden has a presence in Seoul, South Korea and Bengaluru, India. Openings planned for the next two years include Aiden Surawong Bangkok—located in the cultural center of Thailand’s capital—and Aiden SCQ Perth, a 120-room hotel and apartment concept in Australia’s arts district.

In Latin America, BWH Hotels continues to build its presence following the 2024 opening of Aiden Georgetown in Guyana’s capital. Additional properties are in development, including one in Mexico.
