The Signia by Hilton is entering what the company calls “a pivotal phase of growth,” with new openings set to double the portfolio by 2028. Since 2021, Signia by Hilton has nearly tripled its room count.
Hilton’s luxury and lifestyle portfolio recently grew to 1,000 hotels globally. On average, Hilton expects to add three luxury and lifestyle hotels per week in 2025.
“This is a transformative time for Signia by Hilton as we expand and infuse our sophisticated and luxurious experiences into stays in new markets around the world,” Meghan Fitzgerald, brand leader, Signia by Hilton, said in a statement. “From our international launch in Amman to projects underway in dynamic cities globally, we are elevating every stay through personalized service, vibrant atmospheres and world-class meetings and events. Each property will bring the brand’s vision to life, creating inspiring spaces where guests can connect, recharge and thrive.”
The brand is expanding its footprint in the United States over the next two years with several recent and upcoming openings:
- Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas, a recent conversion that not only marks the brand’s debut in the state, but also Hilton’s 9,000th hotel opening.
- The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida, is expected to be rebranded as Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort in 2026, following a transformation of public spaces and outdoor recreation areas.
- Expected to open in fall 2026, Signia by Hilton Indianapolis will become the city’s tallest hotel. Owned by the City of Indianapolis with operations led by the Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County, a municipal corporation of Marion County, Indiana and managed by Hilton, the property will feature close to 100,000 square feet of versatile meeting space, including a 50,000-square-foot ballroom and will provide direct access to the convention center and Lucas Oil Stadium via a skywalk over Capitol Avenue.
- Hilton recently broke ground on Signia by Hilton Savannah, a 444-room hotel expected to debut in mid-2028, that will serve as Savannah Convention Center’s headquarters hotel. Owned by Savannah-Georgia Convention Center Authority (SGCCA) and developed in partnership with the Georgia World Congress Center Authority, the property will mark the first for the brand in Savannah, and the second in Georgia, following the 2024 opening of Signia by Hilton Atlanta.
