GrandStay Hospitality—the franchisor for GrandStay Hotels—held its 2025 Brand Conference in May while celebrating its 25th anniversary.
Held at the Crown Point Community Center in Johnston, Iowa, the conference focused on engaging and educating the brand’s hotel managers, management companies and ownership groups.
At the conference, White Bear Lake, Minnesota-based GrandStay annually recognizes excellence with Grand Awards. The GrandStay Hotel & Suites La Crosse, Wis., which is managed by Birch Lake Hospitality, was named 2024 Property of the Year. The award for General Manager of the Year was given to Heather Bahn at the GrandStay Hotel & Suites in Delano, Minn. Meanwhile, Star Performance, Inc received the 2024 Vendor of the Year Award, which was accepted by president, Bob Anderson.
GrandStay Hospitality also recognized excellence in guest-service scores with the Every Guest—Every Time Award for achieving a review score above 4.5 stars for the entire 2024 business year. The following properties were recognized: Sisters, Oregon; Delano, Minnesota; Morris, Minnesota; Faribault, Minnesota; Luverne, Minnesota; Algona, Iowa; Glenwood, Minnesota; Milbank, South Dakota; and Cannon Falls, Minnesota.
