Danish manufacturer Nilfisk has introduced a new industrial-grade robotic vacuum designed for large, high-traffic environments.
The VP25 model joins the Copenhagen, Denmark-based company’s portfolio of autonomous cleaning machines aimed at supporting professional operations and addressing workforce challenges across service industries.
“Professional cleaning teams across sectors, including hospitality, continue to face tighter staffing and growing expectations around hygiene,” Maria Nielsen, VP, commercial floorcare at Nilfisk, said in a statement. “The VP25 was developed to help address those challenges by automating routine vacuuming so teams can concentrate on more specialized or guest-facing tasks.”
Developed on the same platform as the SC25 robotic scrubber—launched earlier this year—the VP25 extends Nilfisk’s automated solutions to both hard and soft floor surfaces. According to the company, the new model was designed to help facilities teams maintain consistent cleaning standards while optimizing staff resources.
The VP25 is equipped with 2D and 3D LiDAR sensors that map surroundings, detect obstacles and plan efficient cleaning routes. It also has a dual-brush system designed to capture both fine dust and larger debris, while side brushes reach along edges and corners, as well as a HEPA filtration system for improved indoor air quality.
