A number of hotels across the country—and beyond—have appointed sales and marketing leaders in recent weeks.
Aspen Meadows Resort
Salamander Collection has appointed Michael Garrow the new director of sales and marketing at Aspen Meadows Resort in Colorado.
Garrow joins Aspen Meadows from Garden of the Gods Resort in Colorado Springs, Colo., where he was vice president of sales and marketing for four years. Previously, he was director of sales at the Meadowood Napa Valley in California. Garrow has also held leadership positions at Innisbrook Resort in Tampa Bay, Fla., (a Salamander-owned and managed property); Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.; and Colonial Williamsburg Company in Williamsburg, Va. He graduated from Napa Valley College with a degree in Business Administration.
The Broadmoor
The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo., appointed Farzanah Johnson as their new director of national sales for the Northeast region.
Farzanah most recently was Northeast director of national accounts at Nemacolin Resort. She has held leadership roles with Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Gaylord Entertainment and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Hotel MOHI by Appellation
Hotel MOHI by Appellation, set to open in early 2026 in downtown Morgan Hill, Calif. appointed Jennifer Van Every director of sales & marketing.
Van Every joins Hotel MOHI by Appellation from Starwood Hotels, where she played a key role in the pre-opening of Treehouse Hotel Silicon Valley. Previously, she was area director of sales & marketing for Shashi Hospitality Group, overseeing a portfolio of Silicon Valley hotels, and held leadership positions with Hayes Mansion, Curio Collection by Hilton, Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay and Larkspur Hotels & Restaurants.
Van Every’s career began with Hyatt Hotels in San Francisco. She also worked with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, where she was part of the pre-opening team for Hotel Palomar San Francisco, and with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, representing the Las Ventanas al Paraíso in Los Cabos.
IHG
IHG Hotels & Resorts appointed María Daniel Espina area director of U.S. leisure sales. In this role, she will lead leisure sales efforts across Six Senses La Sagesse and InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa, both part of IHG’s luxury & lifestyle portfolio in the Caribbean.
Daniel has represented properties across the Caribbean, Mexico and Nicaragua, working with brands including The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, 1 Hotels, Viceroy Hotels & Resorts as well as independent hotels.
Daniel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration and Management from Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil.
Kimpton Ashbel New York–Park Avenue
Kimpton Ashbel New York–Park Avenue, the upcoming new addition to IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle portfolio, appointed Lucy Shulman director of sales & marketing
Shulman has been part of the Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants family for more than 16 years, having held roles across their New York City properties including The Muse and Ink48 under the Kimpton flag. She began her career as a sales manager with Interstate Hotels & Resorts.
La Fonda on the Plaza
La Fonda Hospitality Group appointed Ernesto Montaño area director of sales at La Fonda on the Plaza in downtown Santa Fe, N.M., and Piñon Court, the 58-room boutique hotel near the city’s historic Railyard District. Montano’s addition to the team comes as La Fonda’s longtime director of sales, Ed Pulsifer, transitions into the role of senior sales manager and hotel historian.
Montaño has worked with such brands as Hilton, Marriott, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Isleta and OYO Hotels, where he spearheaded sales growth, managed large-scale operations and launched major brand initiatives.
Le Méridien Indianapolis
Le Méridien Indianapolis, a StepStone Hospitality-managed property, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jenny Russell as Director of Sales and Marketing. Russell has worked with major brands such as Marriott, Hyatt and Best Western. She is currently completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management through Western Governors University and is an active member of Meeting Professionals International and the Global Business Travel Association.
Meruelo Group
The Meruelo Group appointed Ronn Nicolli as chief marketing and experience officer, where he will oversee brand strategy, marketing, and guest experience initiatives across the company’s portfolio of properties and products, most notably Sahara Las Vegas and Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno.
Naples Grande Beach Resort
In Florida, the Naples Grande Beach Resort appointed Cassandra Affleck director of national accounts.
Affleck most recently was commercial director of sales at the Washington Hilton, where she led a 15-member commercial sales team and executed major events for national corporate and association clients.
She also held key sales and leadership positions with Hilton and Hyatt properties. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University.
ONE | GT
Donnette Hoilett has been appointed director of sales for the upcoming ONE | GT in George Town, Cayman Islands.
Hoilett most recently was director of sales at Hampton by Hilton Grand Cayman, where she spearheaded the pre-opening and brand launch. She held leadership roles at the Grand Cayman Marriott Resort and The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.
The Sun Rose West Hollywood
The Sun Rose West Hollywood in California appointed Jeff Graham director of sales and marketing.
Throughout his career, Graham has held senior leadership positions with brands including Preferred Hotels & Resorts, where he most recently was regional director for America West and Canada, as well as Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and InterContinental Hotels & Resorts.
In Southern California, Graham spent more than a decade working in Orange County, where he led strategic initiatives for real estate leader Irvine Company and in San Diego County, where he was director of sales & marketing at the La Valencia Hotel. Before his time in California, he spent more than a decade in Vancouver, holding leadership positions with The Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver and Hotel Georgia.
Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa
Jim Caul was appointed director of sales and marketing at the Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, Calif.
With 22 years of industry experience, Caul joins Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa from The Langham Huntington in Pasadena, Calif., where he was director of sales & marketing. Before that, Caul was director of marketing at Loews Hollywood.

The Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio appointed Brian Huchingson its new director of sales & marketing.
Huchingson has more than 25 years of hospitality experience spanning sales, revenue management and commercial strategy. Most recently, he was director of commercial services for Zachry Hotels, supporting Hilton Palacio del Rio and overseeing revenue operations for two Embassy Suites properties in San Antonio. He also held senior leadership roles with Hilton Worldwide, Omni Hotels and Sage Hospitality
