Collared Martin Hospitality appoints finance, F&B senior leaders

Collared Martin Hospitality adds two to its senior leadership team: Kyle Hunt as senior vice president of finance, and Vincent LaRusso as senior vice president of food & beverage.

Founded in January 2025, CMH operates the Faraway brand and a curated collection of independent lifestyle and luxury boutique hotels, restaurants and cocktail clubs. As the management arm for Blue Flag Capital’s hospitality portfolio, CMH was created to infuse soul into hospitality by curating intentional, authentic experiences rooted in place, purpose, and personal connection.

Hunt joins CMH with more than a decade of experience at The Ritz-Carlton brand, where he held finance leadership roles across properties including Bachelor Gulch, St. Thomas, and Rancho Mirage. At Rancho Mirage, Hunt earned multiple innovation awards for his work improving profitability and financial systems.

“Collared Martin Hospitality is a rocket ship for our industry, and I’m enjoying the ride,” Hunt said in a statement. “Our ‘technology when you need it’ approach allows guests to slow down and enjoy the moment while enabling a seamless business that our investors appreciate. When you get both right, everyone wins.”

After mastering hotel finance, he transitioned into the tech and SaaS sector, where he developed fluency in data analytics and coding, skills that now inform his approach to building the next generation of financial technology at CMH.

“Kyle brings a rare blend of hospitality financial expertise and technical fluency that has accelerated the development of our foundational financial tools and technology systems in his first year," said Steven Rubin, CEO of Collared Martin Hospitality. "As we grow, he’ll be instrumental in helping us harness AI to connect our data, unlock deeper insight, and make smarter, faster decisions across the business.”

LaRusso brings more than 15 years of food and beverage leadership, including roles with Soho House and the Ambassador Theatre Group. At Soho House, he helped open the brand’s second U.S. property and went on to lead beverage programs, service training, and operational standards across multiple locations. At ATG, he built the company’s in-house U.S. dining division, setting a new standard for elevated hospitality within live entertainment.

“I’m incredibly excited to be building upon the food and beverage foundation at Collared Martin Hospitality,” said LaRusso. “We work in time-honored destinations, places that people hold close to their families and travel memories. My goal is to create environments where our restaurant teams are as inspired and excited as the guests they welcome. When that happens, hospitality feels truly alive.”

Most recently, LaRusso contributed to the opening of The Forth Hotel in Atlanta, where his creative and operational alignment helped shape one of the city’s most acclaimed new hotel dining concepts.

“Vincent brings a remarkable depth of expertise in creating and operating distinctive dining and entertainment concepts, from Soho House to Ambassador Theatre Group," Rubin said. "His understanding that food and beverage go far beyond service, encompassing emotion, atmosphere, and connection, perfectly complements our mission. His leadership will help us craft experiences that feel as personal as they are memorable.”
