As KAJ Hospitality grows its hotel portfolio across the Midwest, the company names Mike Bonasera of director of construction and renovations and Peggi Monico as regional director of sales.
Bonasera brings more than two decades of hospitality and construction experience to KAJ. He began his hotel career in 2001 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bloomington, Minn., and has since led numerous renovation and new-build projects across the region—including eight resorts along Minnesota’s North Shore.
In his role at KAJ, Bonasera oversees construction and renovation efforts across the company’s portfolio, ensuring every project is executed with quality, consistency and care for the guest experience.
Monico joins KAJ with a track record of driving revenue and building strong commercial teams across the hotel industry, according to the company. Her background includes leading sales and marketing efforts for a major downtown Minneapolis hotel, overseeing a diverse portfolio for a Minnesota-based ownership group, and implementing brand-level revenue strategies across a regional hospitality brand.
At KAJ, Monico is focused on supporting sales teams across properties, aligning efforts to drive growth, enhance relationships, and position KAJ’s properties for long-term success.
