Remington Hospitality adds EVP of business development

Remington Hospitality appoints Travis Burns as executive vice president of business development. Burns will focus on driving portfolio growth by sourcing new management opportunities, forging deeper relationships with owners and developers and positioning Remington as a high-performing, solutions-driven operator for institutional investors, private equity groups, and individual ownership entities. His leadership will support Remington’s long-term strategy of delivering measurable value, operational excellence, and improved asset performance for its partners.

Burns brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience with a proven track record in business development, operations, and commercial strategy. He joins Remington from Aimbridge Hospitality, where he most recently served as vice president of business development, spearheading national initiatives to expand the company’s managed portfolio. His nearly decade-long tenure at Aimbridge included senior roles, including regional vice president of operations, where he oversaw 70+ properties and $175M in annual revenue, driving double-digit gains in RevPAR, GOP, and EBITDA. He also held roles including regional director of operations, marketing and sales, and area director of sales, giving him a comprehensive understanding of how to drive NOI, optimize top-line performance, and execute brand-aligned strategies across diverse asset types.

Earlier in his career, Burns held leadership roles at Leisure Hospitality Management, Anish Hotel Group, and Hyatt Regency, strengthening his expertise across full-service, select-service and resort properties.
