Stonebridge adds Rich Cortese as special advisor to the Caribbean region. Cortese joins Stonebridge in a strategic advisory capacity, bringing over three decades of hands-on experience in Caribbean development, operations and asset management to the firm’s growing presence in the region.
Over the course of his career, Cortese has overseen many Caribbean’s resort properties. He previously served as executive vice president at Caribbean Property Group, managing a $750 million portfolio that included the Ritz-Carlton San Juan, Marriott Aruba, Radisson San Juan, the Normandie Hotel and a portfolio of Courtyard by Marriott properties. Earlier in his career, he led operations at premier resorts including the El San Juan, El Conquistador and Conrad Plaza in Puerto Rico, as well as Wyndham properties across the Caribbean.

Stonebridge recently opened a Miami office led by Marco Selva, senior vice president of business development and operations, luxury & lifestyle.
