Trinity Investments, a hospitality-focused real estate investor, promoted Stephany Chen to head of investor relations, effective immediately.
In this new role, Chen, who previously served as a senior vice president of acquisitions at Trinity, will develop, manage and oversee the firm’s investor relations strategy, serving as the primary contact between Trinity and its investment community. She will work closely with Dempsey Banks, vice president of investor relations, and Kamana Hobbs, associate of investor relations.
“As Trinity’s platform continues to expand, capital formation, and investor engagement have become increasingly strategic priorities for the firm,” Sean Hehir, managing partner, president and CEO of Trinity Investments, said in a statement. “With the opportunity to continue growing our global network of investors and partners, it’s the right time to formalize this function under a seasoned leader with deep industry expertise like Stephany.”
Chen joined Trinity in July 2024 and was responsible for overseeing the identification and execution of acquisition opportunities, in addition to supporting the firm’s business development initiatives. Prior to Trinity, Chen spent more than a decade in JLL’s Hotels and Hospitality Group within the U.S. Global Hotels dDesk, where she played a key part in managing high-profile transactions by sourcing global capital and assisting international investors with their hotel real estate requirements.
“It has been exciting to play a role in Trinity’s remarkable growth over the past year, and I’m grateful for this new opportunity to help shape how we engage with investors, communicate our strategy, and build lasting partnerships to support our long-term growth,” said Chen.
Trinity’s accelerating global growth and strategic momentum only continues to take shape, exemplified by the firm’s recent $865 million sale of the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa to Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc.—one of several developments highlighting this upward trajectory.
