Drury Hotels opens resort-style property in Tennessee

St. Louis, Mo.-based midscale brand Drury Hotels has opened its sixth hotel in Tennessee with the debut of a resort-style property in Pigeon Forge. The Drury Plaza Hotel Pigeon Forge—which is adjacent to the LeConte Event Center off Route 321 with views of the Smoky Mountains—has 252 guestrooms and on-site dining. The hotel will employ 75 full-time and part-time team members led by general manager Henny Baranyai.

“It’s no surprise that our guests have consistently requested Pigeon Forge as one of their top destinations for its scenery and popular attractions,” Chuck Drury, CEO of Drury Hotels Company, sad in a statement. “Our team is ready to ensure guests relax and enjoy Pigeon Forge, providing warm welcomes, award-winning service, and a comfortable stay.”

The new Drury Plaza Hotel has queen, king, and suite accommodations. The hotel’s amenities include free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, 24-hour business and fitness centers, an indoor pool and a splash pad. The new hotel also has an outdoor whirlpool and fire pits in a location that overlooks the Little Pigeon River.

The dining options include a complimentary hot breakfast, dinnertime snacks and beverages at Drury’s signature 5:30 Kickback. There is also an outdoor patio space as part of The Kitchen + Bar—a late-night dining option with casual dishes, quick bites, hand-crafted cocktails and other beverages.
