California inn launches Residences & Villas Collection

The historic Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., has completed a multiyear renovation with the debut of its Residences & Villas Collection.

“In this next chapter of the resort, we wanted to build upon what has made The Inn a beloved destination,” Vikram Sood, managing director of The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, said in a statement. “We’ve designed these homes to provide an exclusive yet inviting experience, where our guests can enjoy the resort as if it truly is their home, with the high standards they deserve and have become accustomed to here.”

Designer Nina Chiappa, with the influence of architect Steve Hermann, oversaw the project. Each interior was curated with unique vintage pieces sourced from around the world. Local interior designer Jennifer Adams selected the bedding while the bathrooms have custom Calcutta marble sinks and rainfall showers. Aged oak chevron floors and tongue-and-groove paneled walls create a European aesthetic.

The residences are designed for multigenerational stays, leadership retreats and weddings. The new residences are available in two styles—the three-bedroom Hibiscus residence, which accommodates up to six guests or the two-bedroom Bougainvillea, accommodating four guests. Both Residences have two-car garages with private driveways, full kitchens, common areas and private yards overlooking the hills of Rancho Santa Fe. The collection also includes three Villas with one- and two-bedroom homes complete with full kitchens and private yards.

Guests of the Residences and Villas will have a dedicated concierge to support them during their stay.
