The Homewood Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh – Southpointe has completed a comprehensive $4 million renovation. Led by general contractor Geen Contracting with design direction from Hsupply, the refresh encompassed the guest suites and public spaces, including the lobby, fitness center and breakfast area. The 148-room hotel—which is located on Horizon Vue Drive in Canonsburg—is operated by Providence, R.I.-based StepStone Hospitality.
“This renovation represents our long-term confidence in both this hotel and the Southpointe market,” said Shital Patel, property owner, said in a statement. “We are grateful for StepStone’s leadership throughout this process and are thrilled for guests to experience the results.”
“This renovation is a testament to the power of strong partnerships between owners, brand partners, designers and contractors,” said Michael Broadhurst, COO of StepStone Hospitality. “As stewards of this property, we are proud to deliver a refreshed product along with best-in-class service at every level.”
Hsupply infused the interiors with warm, natural textures, modern lighting and functional design elements to create a balanced, inviting aesthetic, according to the Orlando, Fla.-based company. Homewood Suites Pittsburgh – Southpointe offers spacious suites with full kitchens, complimentary hot breakfast, free Wi-Fi and evening socials.
