L’Auberge de Sedona unveils $30 million expansion with new rooms, event spaces

L’Auberge de Sedona has completed a $30 million property-wide expansion that adds 70 guest rooms, a new pool deck and a cliffside event terrace, while updating existing accommodations and amenities at the Red Rock resort.

Owned by Diamondrock Hospitality Company and managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, the resort also features enhanced spa, wellness and culinary offerings. The new accommodations, called The Cliffs, stem from the resort’s acquisition and renovation of the former Orchards Inn, bringing the total number of guest rooms at L’Auberge to 158. The rooms feature updated interiors with Southwest-inspired design and private balconies or patios.

Other enhancements include a new pool with cabanas, expanded outdoor dining at Cress on Oak Creek, refreshed interiors across the resort’s existing rooms, and new wellness programming at L’Apothecary Spa. A new event terrace, Vista Overlook, has also been added for weddings and special occasions.

“Sedona remains one of the most sought-after destinations in the country, and our continued investment in L’Auberge de Sedona reflects our confidence in its lasting appeal,” said Shawn Smith, senior vice president of asset management at DiamondRock Hospitality Company, which owns the resort.

The renovation was led by architects Kollin Altomare and interior designers at Whitespace. The resort is now a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and can also be booked through Hilton.com and the Hilton Honors app.
