Sea Crest Beach Resort starts second wave of transformation

Sea Crest Beach Resort, a coastal getaway on Cape Cod, is making enhancements that will elevate its accommodations, amenities and guest offerings. The new changes include upgrades to the resort’s guestrooms and pool areas, a mural by local artist, Mia Cross, a makeover of Captain Scoops ice cream shop and expanded arcade access — all designed to create a more comfortable and engaging environment for guests.

The updates build on the resort’s transformation over the past few years, including a redesigned lobby blending contemporary design with Cape Cod charm, and refreshed guest rooms and suites featuring nautical-inspired décor, modern flooring, Serta Euro Pillow Top mattresses, and flat-screen televisions. Meeting and event spaces were reworked to offer over 30,000 square feet of flexible space, many with ocean views.

In July 2024, Streetscape debuted, introducing five new and enhanced dining venues, including The Lantern Room (a New England-inspired restaurant), The Hatch, Buzzards Bay Pizza Co., Captain Scoops, and Old Silver Provisions. Additional upgrades included a new outdoor bar, expanded pool and deck area, and brand new beach chairs and umbrellas.  The resort features unique seasonal beachside activities, enhanced beach service, dog-friendly accommodations, and daily on-property activities for all ages.

“These updates are a natural next step in the continued evolution of Sea Crest Beach Resort,”General Manager Jay Sheldon said in a statement. “Guests will soon be able to enjoy the summer weather and take advantage of our new and improved spaces—whether it’s enjoying the pool, unwinding in our newly renovated spaces, or making the most of the beautiful Cape Cod weather.”

Sea Crest Beach Resort is enhancing the guest experience with a series of thoughtful refinements across its property. The resort’s 78 premier oceanfront and ocean view rooms have updated bathrooms, many with modern stand-up showers, alongside new bath products from C.O. Bigelow. These updates build on the broader guest room refresh completed in prior renovation phases, which included the installation of Serta Euro Pillow Top mattresses, modern flooring and wall treatments, flat-screen televisions, and nautical-inspired décor across select accommodations.

The new Club Room, located between the indoor and outdoor pool areas, will have a variety of seating options, a TV and more, providing a comfortable space for guests to relax, socialize, and enjoy the pool. This newly created area complements the revamped outdoor pool experience from last year, enhancing the overall indoor pool area and providing an excellent space for families to enjoy both pools in comfort.

Sea Crest Beach Resort is expanding access to its arcade with a new outdoor entrance, featuring new and modern  games catering to children of all ages, along with extended hours, which allows both hotel guests and local visitors to enjoy the entertainment offerings, further enriching the resort’s lively atmosphere. Captain Scoops, a favorite sweet treat spot, will also be enhanced with a refreshed look and window-side service.
