POSH on Kirkwood, a new boutique hotel in Bloomington, Ind., has partnered with Sonifi to elevate its in-room entertainment.
The property—housed in a former downtown bank—has 45 suites and now includes the latest interactive TV platform and the newest version of its Staycast streaming solution. As one of the first hotels in the U.S. to deploy the updated Staycast system with Google Cast software embedded directly into Samsung smart hospitality TVs, POSH on Kirkwood enables guests to stream thousands of apps from their personal devices without the need for additional hardware.
“Our suites are designed to be a sanctuary of comfort, style and calm,” General Manager Matt Swisher said in a statement. “Making sure our guests have the in-room amenities they want most, including their favorite entertainment, is part of that.”
“POSH on Kirkwood is setting a new standard for boutique hospitality, balancing luxurious elegance with modern comforts and technology,” added Sonifi CEO Ahmad Ouri.
The Sonifi platform is designed to highlight the hotel’s amenities, including an upscale cocktail bar built into the building’s original bank vault, multiple outdoor terraces, a custom sauna room, complimentary bicycles and an on-site bagel shop. In-room, guests can access live TV from DIRECTV, on-demand movies, wellness programming and secure casting from more than 5,000 apps.
The interactive system also supports personalized messages, QR-code-enabled promotions and time-aware content to help guests navigate the property and its offerings, according to the company.
