The Galt House Hotel, a Wyndham Grand Hotel in Louisville, Ky., has partnered with mobile ordering platform provider IRIS, as part of an effort to enhance its food and beverage operations.
Seeking to increase room service revenue, enhance guest satisfaction and operate more efficiently, the 1,300-room property implemented the IRIS F&B mobile ordering platform throughout the hotel. The IRIS platform will enable the hotel to integrate room service, poolside and lobby sales and restaurant promotions into one digital guest experience, according to the London, U.K.-based company.
“We’ve had nothing but success with IRIS,” Lance George, chief marketing officer at The Galt House Hotel, said in a statement. “The support is always there, and they accommodate all our needs. It’s reliable, efficient, and easy for managers to use. Most importantly, it enables us to serve guests better, drive revenue and operate more profitably.”
Through IRIS, guests can now order room service directly from their phones using menus that are designed to drive engagement and upsell opportunities. During high-demand periods such as concerts and the annual Kentucky Derby, the system has helped generate thousands of dollars in additional F&B revenue, according to the company.
