Sensible Weather has expanded its partnership with technology provider Hospitality Solutions, making its Weather Guarantee product available for purchase at more than 1,400 hotels using the SynXis Booking Engine.
The integration of the two platforms allows guests to add weather protection directly during the online booking process at participating properties. With a Weather Guarantee, travelers receive automatic cash reimbursement from Sensible Weather when qualifying conditions—such as rain, snow, excessive heat, or high winds—impact their stay. In addition, the payout requires no claims, paperwork or trip cancellations.

For properties on the SynXis Booking Engine, Weather Guarantees have been shown to support higher booking confidence, lower cancellation volume tied to forecast concerns and incremental revenue through a revenue-share model, according to company. Further company data indicates that the feature is contributing to a 19 percent lift in conversion at checkout.
