SuitePad has launched SuitePad AI, a voice-activated guest communication platform designed to bring interaction to the in-room experience.
Available on all SuitePad devices, SuitePad AI combines voice and chat capabilities—SuitePad AI Voice and SuitePad AI Chat—letting guests get answers to questions in real time by speaking or typing. By automating routine inquiries, the system is designed to helps hotels boost service speed and consistency while easing the workload on staff.
“Designing SuitePad AI was about more than embedding a language model. We built a system that understands hospitality context at scale,” Paul Spieker, head of engineering at SuitePad, said in a statement. “Every response is generated using hotel-specific data, shaped by smart prompt engineering and relevance scoring, so guests get answers that are useful, on-brand and timely.”
SuitePad AI was beta tested in more than 30 hotels across Europe. At Romy by Amano, the assistant achieved an 83 percent chat-resolution rate, handling most guest inquiries automatically, according to the Berlin, Germany-based company. In addition, the company added that Amano Grand Central reported more than 1,700 guest questions answered without staff involvement.
The new solution is designed to enable voice-first interaction delivering hotel-specific responses powered by each property’s SuitePad content and integrates with the property-management system for personalized service. Hotels can also customize branding and tone of voice.
