Hospitality communications provider VSR has rolled out the first integration of its VAIA Conversational AI Assistant with Bounte, an AI-powered lost and found platform for the hospitality industry.
The integration between Auburn, Calif.-based VSR’s VAIA and Bounte is designed to enable guests to communicate more quickly and easily with the hotel by phone, using AI for conversational multilingual communication. With VAIA, Bounte can automatically file a claim report without staff intervention.
“The VAIA integration transforms Bounte into a platform guests will be able to utilize from the in-room phone or their personal phone to more quickly and efficiently retrieve their lost belongings,” Stephen Sinclair, CEO of Bounte, said in a statement. “VSR is bringing compelling AI capabilities to hospitality in a manner that will have a lasting impact on hotel operations and guest satisfaction.”
“An organized lost and found system isn’t merely an operational process; it’s a vital touchpoint that reinforces guest trust, strengthens loyalty and elevates the overall guest experience,” added Mark Cederloff, CEO of VSR.
Powered by cloud infrastructure and advanced AI, VAIA utilizes natural language processing, real-time data and contextual learning to understand guest intent and perform actions within connected hotel systems. VSR’s VAIA Conversational AI Assistant connects and automates multiple hotel departments and is designed to improve efficiency, reduce staff workload and create a more seamless guest experience through voice, text, chat, email and system workflows, according to the company.
