With capital provided by Ridgeline Investment Partners, hospitality brand StayRidgeline has acquired a hotel in Banner Elk, N.C., for repositioning.
The 100-room hotel—formerly a Best Western—has been rebranded as The Lodge at Banner Elk. In line with the repositioning of the hotel by Ridgeline, a phased renovation is being planned. The boutique property will remain open throughout the process.
“All 100 guestrooms and suites will be renovated to reflect Ridgeline’s typical design approach—comfortable, updated and connected to the place,” Shannon Maness, general manager at The Lodge at Banner Elk, said in a statement. “This includes new upscale mattresses with select linens, luxury bathrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and in-room refreshment stations.”
The full-service hotel—which is located near downtown Banner Elk and the region’s ski resorts—includes a restaurant and event space, an outdoor pool and a fitness center.
